This creature's design was developed for my graduating Thesis at CCS for The World of Blackstone.
This project aimed to push my design and technical skills. This horse creature was shaped by prolonged exposure to an alien monolith infection following an ambush encounter. The sudden violence of the attack marked the beginning of the creature’s transformation, as lingering monolith contamination embedded itself within its body over time.
Its anatomy shows signs of this gradual corruption: distorting bone structure, uneven muscle growth, and reinforced plates built for defense. While the infection is visible along the skin, familiar features remain, keeping the design grounded in realism while giving it an unsettling presence.
I have to give major thanks to Matt Cunningham for incredible guidance and feedback on this large, ambitious project, and Hope to show more of my work from this soon!
